Just to translate - an early prediction of a month out for Sturridge usualy mean at least two. We will be lucky to get him for the cup final if we get there which will be quite difficult without him.
I think at least it is clear as crystal even more now what is our summer target. We need a 20 goal a season non-injury prone striker that can run with the ball (i.e. not another balotelli). And if we need to sell half of squad for that and this being our one and only purchase this summer so be it.
Anyone knows how is Lallana and Lovern and when are they due back?

I think you can safely say that is the season over, honestly can't see where our goals are going to come from now, its all very well saying that Borini, Balotelli, Sterling or Lambert can play there, but none of them have been effective in that position this season(Sorry but i'm not buying that Sterling can be a false nine, that's just nonsense) and I don't believe that Markovic would be effective there either as he simply isn't a striker.
Thanks for last season Brendan, but don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Does no-one remember that Sturridge was injured twice last season, came back quicker than expected both times and scored on his first match back both times? Including one where he went on a 10 game scoring run?
