So just saw the United result. Does anybody actually want 4th place?

Yes, but part of me fears it would save BR's job.

i really doubt it would save BR's job.

Good one, Lambert. As much as I want 4th, I'm afraid he might keep his job and then we will have to deal with his BS on and of the field. I'm torn, tbh.

He will likely get the sack regardless anyway now.

4th will not save his job, have you seen what both Ed002 and Ed002 have been saying? They're not often wrong and they keep saying that BR has broken promises to the owners, wasted horrendous amounts of money and made all the business public in press conferences.

I don't think the signings we've made under BR have been that bad, just the enormous out-lay a few aside they've all been fairly reasonable. Lallana, Markovic, Sakho, Lovren, Moreno and a few others(forgive me it's 6:30am) have all shown glimpses of being "good enough". Some have been mismanaged, some have been unlucky with injuries and some have taken longer to settle. There is no denying that they have ability, as they showed it at their previous clubs.

I think it's best we part with Rodgers personally. He gave us one hell of a ride last season, but I think this season he's been found out as some people say.

Top 4 will not happened and even if some miracle happenes and we finish top4 it will not affect BR's future becase he is staying anyway. hsf, ED002 said here few days ago he doesn't know if BR is going, but think he should.

Everyday BR stays in the job make it more certain he will stay. If they don't want him, what is the point of waiting?

{Ed002's Note - I think he should as well - whether or not that happens remains in the balance. It is critical to think what is best for the club - and that is what the owners, and critically Michael Gordon and his advisors, will be doing.}

There is little point in changing now, we have 3 games left and the remit will be to get as many points as possible. Come the end of the seasons I'm sure the discussions will be had ( and m hoping they are sounding people out on the meantime)

Hearing him talk over the last couple weeks, he seems confident he'll still be here next season. Seems like he's getting his way anyway with the moves for Ings and Milner. Another season of mediocrity beckons.

Not really, Amit. He is pandering and posturing in the media because he knows the chop may be coming hence, he is mouthing off in the media in a bid to keep a poor excuse of credibility he thinks he has in order to look good when he gets the chop like the self serving politician he is.

Yep, Michael Gordon is the Man, he is an investor, and a financial adviser, and I quote. "He runs Liverpool, " one industry source said. "He's the point person [among FSG owners] for the people in Liverpool. If it wasn't for him, it wouldn't function."
