I know I'm going to get called every name under the sun for having an opinion but I'm going for it regardless.
I'm concerned with how poor we have been in the final 3rd, lack of movement, crosses not being met, not getting in behind the opposition. On the flip side same defensive errors and poor closing down so far. Very little reading of the oppositions offensive game
It almost seems as if no lessons have been learnt and I am fearful for next season. Undoubtedly coutinho, firminio and benteke will add some real quality. Excuse my negativity

Is this complaint 100% focused on pre-season? Looks like it is and if so then I wouldn't worry too much about pre-season.

I'm not that daft or uneducated in the beautiful game, plus it wasn't a complaint it was an observation. Pre season or not teams set up as they would for the upcoming season, I simply feel that nothing has changed. I go to the majority of matches home and away, and I haven't seen anything to suggest any positive/proactive improvements. Gomez, milner, I be and Henderson have impressed me mind

Yes you're right but it is just pre-season and we haven't seen What the first 11 will look like as the team is constantly changing and we're doing enough to win.Milner, Gomez and lallana have looked good every game so there are some positives Some of the balls we put into the box were crying out for benteke!

Not really Wleshkop we don't make 7-10 subs throughout the game also we have to play tactics to suit the players available. Watching the game today I thought Gomez, Clyne, origi, Ibe, Milner all played well. Although I was in work so I couldn't give it 100% attention. Throw some of the lads in that are coming back from the coppa and I would be of the complete opposite opinion as yourself.
I personally wouldn't worry too much about preseason to be honest.

We still have Coutinho, Firminho, and Sturridge to come back. These 3 in themselves are game changes!
I really wouldn't worry to much, Well be okay!
Considering the players still to come in.
( I know studge is injuried but when he is back and fit, and Benteke, Even i'm not worrying and I worry a lot about LFC lol)

I think Hendo/Milner have looked great, Clyne clearly a huge addition at RB. CB's and DM still look a bit shaky at times but certainly better with Clyne/Gomez covering the flanks.
As to your comment on the attack, Llalana and Ibe have looked lively but I think the main issue has been Ings/Origi still getting used to playing with the team. Origi in particular has been working hard but then sometimes gone missing when a dangerous cross comes in, he's clearly still finding his feet. Ings looking sharper to me.
I think once we have Coutinho/Firmino and either Benteke or Sturridge up front we'll be a lot more dangerous.

well it is only a pre season against a relatively weak side. it will be much harder against PL teams.

Really can't see how you haven't seen any so called improvement and negative for the season ahead really,
I feel better after watching us in pre season - Haven't you noticed the high pressing game we have implemented back into our game - That alone was absolutely massive in what we achieved 2 seasons ago,
Clyne - Looks a solid signing and gives a good attacking option down the wing whilst knowing his defensive responsibilities
Gomez - Exactly the same as Clyne - This guy is going to be absolutely brilliant over the next few years,
Henderson and Milner look a class act between them dictating play and the work rate they go through will push the others to do the sam (Milner as VC for me) and also Joe allen for that fact - If you watch him against Adelaide he looks to be enjoying the deep role and dictating the game and looking for the ball a lot more - He keeps that in his game we have a very good player in Allen i believe although he gets ripped on a regular basis.
Lallana again looks a lot better than last season with quick passing and not to forget he's scored 2 goals in 3 games for us so right there is an improvement - If you want to play with 1 up top and the three behind then you need your midfielders scoring goals that's what makes it work - Benteke or Ings or Origi will not score 80 goals in a season up top on their own so what are you expecting?? In the 3 games we have played:
We have scored 8 goals - 2 from strikers, Milner has 2, Lallana has 2, Sakho has 1 as well and Markovic so that shows you there has been a massive improvement plus you have the likes of Coutinho, Sturridge and Firmino to come into the frame so i don't know what you want to see from us??
Be optimistic about the season ahead - Trust me we look in good shape and going back to the game we played 2 seasons ago with the right basics involved

We've coutinho, firmino,benteke and Sturridge all to come into the starting 11 arguably our best attacking players so I wouldn't worry to much.

Players are not match fit yet.
I remember I saw Ravanelli in a pre season friendly once and he looked like a pub player, 3 weeks later he was scoring a hat trick on his premier league debut against Liverpool.
