Really happy for Ibe last night. He played like i would hoped for this season. It can only be good for his confidence. He was probably the standout of the youngsters. Texeira did well, a little touch of magic and probably was trying too hard on some occassions. Klopp will have some decisions to make as to which number "10's" to keep or sell. I would sell Lallana and Coutinho (he is going anyway) . That might give him a good amount of money to buy maybe 2 players he really needs. Hopefully next season we should have a more balanced squad.

I thought Ibe could have done much better, but that was as good as he has played all season, so hopefully this gives him the confidence to step it up.

A very typical LFC fan post. Huge enthusiasim of every youngster who can put two passes together and then call to sell our biggest talents who already proved themselves.
I agree Ibe had worst games than yesterday. Still his final ball is awful and with better defenders he will lose the ball more often because he is very predictable when he gets the ball. If a second dfender come to help on him he will always lose the ball. Not good enough for me. I also don't understand the exctiment about Texeira. He wasn't bad, OK but a very soft player for me. Will surely dissapear against a stroner PL team. His back hill flick twoards the goal was a missed oprtunity for me. Very weak and if not poor weak clearance o the defender and Clyne being aware we would have missed our best chance of the game.
I really don;t understand the calls to get rid of our best talent in Coutinho. Our scouting department is so poor in brining players who will hit the ground running or in any case will be good enough for the PL so until we have aproven talent you want to get rid of? Lallana has his ups and downs but I will prefer him every day of the week on Textiera or Ibe.

And as the poster clearly stated fanobip, he's not saying get rid of Coutinho, he's saying he thinks that Coutinho will leave regardless of our wishes.

coutinho's departure is inevitable, and clubs are looking at him. not slating but i think coutinho is a bit out of sorts as of now. he could well be dropped against chelsea if klopp feels that way too.

There's a long time between now and May. Coutinho's mind could have changed many times by then.

To put a different slant on it, I think Coutinho might be out of sorts because Rodgers got to the point of more or less saying he expected him to be his one creative point in the team. The pressure was wrong.

the back heel was cleared off the line so it was not a missed opotunity more of a clearance off the line was the reason it never went in, plus the fact he did something that was unexpected, i can't see lallana doing that he would want to try 4 or 5 dribbles before he took his shot, lallana can't even play a full 90 minutes he always seems to get subbed, i don't know if its because he is getting brought back to match fitness or its just because he can't last the full 90, lallana has done nothing much for me to say i would pick him over a better player, i'm just glad we have the players to be able to choose from.

Tex was quality last night i thought, Improvement on AL. Cou isn't gone. Looks like he might be going but summer is a long way off. Ibe wasn't great at times but i thought 2nd half much improved. Ibes been poor all season. Its nice to see him improve i think its more a confidence thing more than anything. he's 19 for godsake got to give him time to develop! Seems ever since Sterling got the chance now every youngster we bring in has to be amazing. Youngsters need time and let's be honest Ibe is really our only wide player with a bit of pace. AL is not a wide player and I'd put Tex and PC over him. Also i know Milner was a winger but he's too slow now and i think its like playing with 10 men when he's in the centre.
