Klopp is doing a great job but there are passengers in our team. Milner, lallana and mignolet are serious weak spots because I always believed if you play a position you have to offer something. Lallana kills our play and milner is milner. Flannaghan is do believe we get a real chance to challenge Clyne who has been average. Still waiting for texeria to get a run of games.
Lucas is the only starter for me in midfield. But when henderson returns I donot wants to see can dropped. Milner has to lose his place.

Why are we so called fans continually slating our players.
It's getting a bit pathetic. It would be fair if they weren't trying but players like Milner and Lallana are running their socks off. I recall many fans on here slating Lucas. Can't we just get behind the new manager and all the players wearing the mighty red shirts of LFC.
{Ed001's Note - so a player not playing well should just be applauded week in week out? Never criticised because otherwise superfans will start whining about the criticism. Now that would be pathetic. This is nothing like the Lucas boo boys, who just booed him because they didn't like him. Lallana works hard, but he needs to learn to release the ball earlier or be moved on, what is wrong with telling him that? Milner has been rank in most games, there is nothing wrong with that being pointed out. So long as the criticism is not just based on a dislike of them, and is fair, what is the problem?}

Clyne average? You cannot be serious. He's one of the best buys we've made in a long time.
Lallana and Milner give 100% every game. you can't ask for more than that .

Thanks for reply. We have a new manager, players are adapting to his way of playing. Yep they make mistakes all players do but they also do some things well. Agree Lallana needs to learn when to pass it, but I've also see him win the ball back and play it out of trouble. On more than one occasion but saying that he has given the ball away too. I just don't want to focus on all the negative things we had a lot of that under Rodgers tenure. Milner is a work horse and has never been anything else at any other team. So not sure what we fans expect from. There have been many more positives in the last several weeks but just seems to still negativity. But that could just we the way football is going.

I actually think Milner is improving.
Lallana is still keeping hold of the ball too long and slowing play down.
Clyne is decent, some defensive frailties still. The fact he got an England cap is a sad indictment of international football.

Clyne is boss like, even if ed001 doesn't agree. What an improvement on Glen Johnson.

The thing I agree most with on this thread is the super fan bit, annoys me so much that people moan at people moaning. As if any of the players read this and get upset. If they're not playing well, why can't people post their opinions here.
I've voiced opinions on lallana not quite being good enough, but I've also said he played very well against city, looks fitter and quicker and may have a place to come, I don't think many people on here just slate players because they dislike them, just express opinions on how they play.

The one major improvment clyne needs in his game is crossing abilities. Benteke waits the whole 90 mts to get once decent in.

I don't care how many dislikes or disagrees I get. Milner and lallana working hard should be a minimum on the wages they are earning. They both have offered very little going forward and milner has offerers nothing defensively either. Yes cylne has been average. I don't know if you were witching the same sport. Players should be critised on poor performances continually. Lallana is a forward player and scores very little and drys up our attacks and keeping the ball until he loses it. Fans can keep applauding but we will win very little.

I've never understood this idea that as soon as a player dons a Red jersey, we "must back him" and any kind of criticism means you're a bad fan, and not backing the team.
Heard a lot of this in the spring about Rodgers too, "We're not getting Klopp! So, shut up and back Rodgers! ".
I've likewise been a frequent critic of Milner. He works hard, and seems like a quality guy in terms of character, but he's overpaid and somewhat overrated on so many other key aspects of the game. Pointing this out, isn't to "constantly slate" a player. I was obviously stoked that Milner scored that penalty (though he also needs to mix it up. another right down the middle) .
IMHO, Swansea was very lucky they were not down 3 after 30 minutes.
