I may be in the minority here but I actually think this may end up being a positive result for us. They were nowhere near 4-1 better than us but for 2 players. Mignolet and Lovren. Hopefully Klopp sees that and acts accordingly. Ward in goal for me, Gomez and Matip CB, Moreno/ Robertson left back with TAA right back. You simply can’t concede goals like that at this level. It’s completely unacceptable. Migs and Lovren are good players but weak mentally and we need strong men at the back.

Come on, Ings! Teams know how to beat us, and if that involves changing their game to sit-back letting us ponce around with the ball, so they can then catch us on the break, then so be it.
Its an example of how the Tottenham manager can change his team, unlike Mr Klopp who hasn't quute grasped that yet, and never will in my opinion.

kloop slammed lovren and mignolet after the game bit late now when he consantly picks them week in week out. i said it in an earlier post that's 2 wins in 10 games Leicester and maribor and he's had 5 Windows to sort this out he thinks he can play through every defence we play against and score 3.or 4 but it ain't working i would give WARD and solanke a run of game solanke gives you a different option up front he good in the air too. as for lovren and mignolet leave them in the changing room and throw the key away there useless.

Lovren is playing with a headful of painkillers. It shouldn't be happening. They slow down reactions and make you oblivious to danger. Not good for a cb. Matip header wasn't much better. Matip is good enough as back up cb the other two should be sold, The goalie needs to be karius or ward, probably karius. The lad kept a clean sheet in mid week, it is ridiculous to replace a goalie who doesn't concede. Two players who come under constant criticism moreno and hendo were our best players along with salah.
The only small positive I saw was Aoc actually looked pretty good. A couple of times I thought it was coutinio who had beat his man and made space for himself but it was the ox. He is going to prove a good signing I'm sure of it.
Not good enough today. Spurs done us pretty easily. Sadly we didn't play that bad, bar a few errors but we were still well beat. Fair play to kane, he will be playing for Madrid next year I reckon. Although I have this feeling he will be in a utd shirt one day.

You must have watched a completely different match as they could have easily been 4-0 up after 20 minutes. if you are thinking about the last 30 minutes where coutinho and salah drew good saves from Lloris, they were up 4-1, they let us play, they were not chasing a goal. the game was already won because they know they won't concede more than maximum another goal. They have good defenders and a decent GK, we are miles off Tottenham, that is just a depressing realization. Papering over the cracks will do nothing but help other teams.

Actually Lovren is not playing with painkillers or anything like that, he has been totally fit for 2 weeks now and been training normally, that's just his level with Klopps tactics. Lovrens own words btw!

Fair enough. Lovren was piss poor. There is no communication. Gomez should step up and kane is offside for first goal.
