I think it's a sign we're getting old Ed025. I also think these fashionable haircuts look ridiculous! Elliott with his dip dyed perm, Kostas and Nunez with their Top-knots, Virgil with his ponytail! I think football clubs should just go full military with compulsory buzz cuts! ?
Trents new cut is very smart though.
{Ed025's Note - I think you’re right MK. I liked Trent when he had the clean cut I must say. The chimney sweeps brush look did not suit him imo. Refs used to say about Giggs that when he was clean shaven he was a nice guy but when you seen the stubble you knew you were in for a tough time. It may sound silly mate but I believe it does make a difference..

I've also never really seen any traits in Trent that point to him being a natural leader and future club captain. It just doesn't strike me as being part of his psychological makeup.
Whereas our new guy Szobo has it stamped all over him.

Haircuts don't bother me, really. It's how well he or any other player is playing. If you're a scrub, the haircut won't make you play better or become suddenly a better player. If your a great player, it won't make you play badly and you become a bad player.
If a haircut makes a player become a good or bad player then, it ain't the haircut. It's elsewhere.
