Hello Eds. Quick question what do you feel the odds might be for example if we sold coutinho and went after some of our long-standing targets in the January transfer? I'm not sure of Red Bull Champions League games start but if for example they are out of it by the break might they be more willing to negotiate a transfer at that time? I know the January Market is usually not the greatest and is often overpriced but just wondering if you think there could be a chance that if we sold coutinho we might realistically have the opportunity to invest some of those funds in quality players and not have to wait for the following year. Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - I don't know who these "long standing" targets are.}

fair point ed002.

who are our alternatives to keita and vvd. we do not appear to have any.

surely a manager would hve more thna one option for each positiion in the squad he wishes to fill.

i can't blame coutinho for wanting out. this was a perfect summer for us to sign 3-4 top quality players and no offense to solanke and robertson but the have not proven themselves to be top qualit at the highest level. lack of ambition and resultantly silverware means our besties will always seek pastures new where they can fulfill their dreams.

{Ed002's Note - We have been through this over and over. LFC could have done a lot better if they had behaved professionally - may Klopp will have learned a lesson - maybe not, The laughing clown personna has gone and he is seemingly seeking sympathy with the hobo look and alcoholic's red nose. I doubt he can keep this up all season. Keita was never going to be a Coutinho replacement - now they need to take stock and decide on the way forward.}

i never expected keita to be a coutinho replacement.

but why does klopp only seem to have one individual target in mind for each position in the squad he wants to strengthen? this seems inane.

Klopp will have learned a lesson? At what cost though? One of the Eds mentioned he was guilty of pulling off the same nonsense at BVB too. Did FSG not warn him when giving him the job? Or were they so oblivious to the situation?
We all pan Suarez, Sterling for bringing disrepute to the club through their conduct so why should Klopp be given any leeway for his actions? So far he has failed miserably in what is the club's most important transfer window to keep pace with the big boys but he has ballsed it up completely.
Has anyone seen the fan reaction to the whole situation now? They expected progress and instead will be treated to a untenable situation with Coutinho and failure to land any of our top targets.
Really looking forward to the Watford game hoping it will take my mind off this disaster and nothing less than a win will do.

Ed002 so correct he does look like a hobo. How the hell that guy cracked the LFC job interview?
It's going to be a downhill season by the looks of him. He is out of sorts. I think he looks fed up of the job and pressure. We aren't media darlings are we. But it prepares him for Bayern only the second most hated club in Germany.

Klopp has lost the laughing clown persona and looks like a hobo? I don't see how Klopp looks any different to how he always looks? He's always had stubble, he's always been a drinker and he's always been a smoker. As for dropping the laughing clown persona, yeah, because he was so unentertaining at the Audi Cup presser?! Come on ed!
