Thought I would take a few days after the game to post anything as it would have come across negative. Same as every other fan on here, agree the decisions went against us and cost us 3 points. Looking at it in a calmer light, a draw away at a side who started the season well isn't the end of the world just have to forget it and move on. Losing Virgil is a massive blow to this team, I feel way more confident when he is playing. However I'm really excited to see how the others step up and fill in. You could look at city last year after losing Laporte and how it affected them and worry what will happen to us. I really think we have more than enough cover and a managerial team to overcome losing Virgil. Getting Allison back will make things a lot better. Time for Gomez to shine, might be the making of him.
One question I have about VAR is does anybody know when the official is looking at it do they see the same as us. I. e pictures from sky? Wondered if they heard the commentary also. I would think that would affect their decision making if they did. I'm just baffled how they miss so much.
