Hi eds,

I was reading on the Southampton page (I think? ) and came across a post about Harrison Reed from a couple years back, and how he was touted to potentially be England captain in the future (in some circles) . Not too sure how he is doing now, but in the Fulham team makes me think not too great.

Anyway, was curious to know of any other English once-upon-a-time talents who were expected for stardom, but unfortunately never made ir for one reason.

The Championship Manager legend that was Cherno Samba is one of the biggest stars that never made it I remember hearing about.
From an Irish point of view I remember the hype and hope that surrounded Terry Dixon.

On the subject of Championship Manager/ Football Manager, a player I always signed and he always scored goals, Carlos Fierro. I think I had him scoring 50+ goals every season haha.
