Was reading about Jones taking over from Gini/ Bobby below and it got me thinking.

Remember reading about 3 years ago when everyone was excited about Brewster, that there was someone else the club thought was a much better prospect. Ed01 refused to be drawn on who it was, as he wanted to protect the youngster.

Been meaning to ask for ages, was it our very own Curtis?

Ed, brewster looks to have made a bad move to Sheffield. What's your opinion on him as a player? Thanks.

{Ed001's Note - he is ok. He lost a lot of development time due to injury and it is showing in his play. The lad needs to play regular football. He has the potential to be a decent Premier League player but I don't see him ever being any better than that to be honest.}

Only wish Southampton had come in for Rhian and we sold him to them instead for a similar fee. Brewster and Ings would have made for an interesting strike partnership imo.
And if he did well, we could have always brought him back for 40 million (which is the going rate for decent English forwards anyways nowadays) .
Its a shame to see the situation Sheffield Utd and Brewster find themselves in right now.
