Migs and skrtel are good players. they had bsd patch, but when they are in form they look really good. Its all about consistency.
We always complain defense need to be sorted and gk.
Migs was runnings close last season for more clean sheets.
I thinks its all about confidence. we spent 20m on lovren last season, but skrtel still looks better. and we had to keep toure. for certain positions there's nt many top choices available. that's why we need to for benteke although most of the fans think otherwise.

Migs has one long bad patch per season. And that will cost us big.
Skrtel's bad "patch" has been going for about 3 years now. He tries his best but he's just too skittish.

How can u say Mingolet is consistently crap. one or two clean sheets off golden gloves last season he had a bad start but I feel hitting the back of the net last season was the problem. I do agree he needs to improve aspects of his game. Also if our front line was better the ball wouldn't have spent so much time at the back last year although that is no excuse for some of the preformances last year I have to agree about skirts though. His hugging players in the box is my biggest worry. He worries too much about groping the opposition that he doesn't keep an eye on the ball. Really bad from set pieces. I hope Lovren comes good because I thought he played some decent games last year but he lacked composure and looked uneasy when the ball was played to his feet.

Skrtle is the reason our defence is shocking, he can't form a partnership with anybody.
Migs might have a fighting chance with a better defence in front of him.

Skrtel was one stand out player for the club under two managers who kept the best defensive record ever in our history.
Rafa would still buy skretel and keep a fantastic defensive record so does Jose.

Mignolet has major deficiencies which undermine the defence and which costs goals throughout the season - in short, for a team with aspirations of top 4 and beyond, he is not good enough.
Skrtel is an enigma - consistently poor defender who makes countless errors and poor decisions yet is lauded by fans and managers alike and given a new contract. He will cost us goals next season, like every season, it is incredible that his weaknesses are not identified.

Skrtel was our standout player for 2 years?
If Rafa wants him he can have him for 10 million. As long as we can pay the 10 million in 2 instalments.

That`s because Rafa defended deep and had Masch and Lucas (two DM`s potentially) in front of him hence, the system made him look good. The system we play now has exposed him over the years and he is getting worse every season. we moved to a back three because he needed Can and Lovren to literally babysit him and cover for his errors and headless defending. A good defender doesn`t need to be babysat. he just adapts and let`s his talent do the rest. His errors and faults are well documented and the fact that he was benched by a semi-retired Jaime Carragher in the last three months in his final season tells the whole story. BR has shown to be incompetent in fixing our defence and the fact that he thinks Skrtel is good enuff shows you he knows very little about that side of the game. Use your eyes intead of just posting stats that can be taken apart easily.

Migs I think will be okay if he continues the form he had since Christmas. He's not an outstanding goalie, but he makes enough good saves and at least will not cost any more points with silly errors. I suppose it is an area we could improve, but it won't be end of the world if we don't.
I have serious concerns about Skrtel's ability to perform to the level we need. He's seems too slow, he's not that good on the ball, not great in the air, and his decision making is dodgy. Has been for the last two seasons. Can't see it changing.

But was good where he came from hence, the money we paid for him. Bar Sahko, not a single CB had a good season last season including Skrtel who was worse because he is more experienced than the rest bar Toure and should be the one controlling the younger ones but since he can't communicate to save his life, he makes the rest worse. Lovren is still new and to me still has a to be great but I agree, he needs to improve.

Mignolets distribution is terrible. That's the first point. He doesn't control the back four at all well either. However my biggest problem is his shot stopping. Whilst he can produce the odd worldie far too often he is beaten by something he should save. That's not the sign of a) a great keeper or b) a consistent one.
As for skittles, I think the correct term to use is brain dead. His lack of communication generally and his **** poor decision making are a constant source of ball ache. Renewing his contract is by far and away the worst signing of the summer.
Skrtle for me is like Enrique. They are pretty much uncoachable. Moreno has his issues but they tend to be more bad habits than anything. I would hope he can be coached into a quality full back. Skrtle is just beyond help.
