Ed 1 or ed 2 i know this is bout chelsea on the liverpool page but what thd hell
Is going on with them just now?? Mourinho is prob best manager there is but he's not getting results i know liverpool would have less points if it weren't for some shocking refereeing and i'm not havin a fig at chelsea just have not seen them play so bad in a long time

They have always been so good defensively it's such a shock to see them struggle this badly.

Meh, swings and roundabouts.
I remember a season when United really struggled at the start, think they won the league by 12 points that year.

They were not great defensively but Jose and his system made them solid. They need two new CB and a world class CM. I would have played Loftus cheek today instead of Mikel who does nothing IMO.

They will come good and still finish in the top 2.
Mourinho will go back to basics and get them winning games like he does best.

Harry, Chelsea have had one of the best defenses in the league for several years. Jose didn't wave his magic wand and repair a broken defense, he just strengthened it.

I am sorry but where did he strengthened? Elaborate it mate. Their deep defensive system with flat back 4 and a top class DM helps them just like Rafa had Mascherano and Alonso ahead of Skrtel.
Chelsea cannot play high not press high as their defenders lack pace. And this is is coming from his own mouth.

I doubt Chelsea will finish in top 2 to be honest. Jose is a very good manager but its great for me to see him sturggle. I know many Portuguese people who also recognize that he is good but has often had a job most would kill for, and his title win for porto was also suspect according to some people. i;e corrupt. For me his best run was with INter

The diff is that last year, teams didn't go at them as much as they are doing now. The defence suddenly didn't get poor overnight or Mou didn't become aweful overnight. It's a case of teams have gotten better and will go at them knowing they have nothing to lose because losing to the champs is no big deal. Today's game was a case in point. Martinez had nothing to lose and went at them, attacking from all sides, something they are not used to and voila. They'll figure it out but they'd better hurry because you may not wing the PL in in Sept but you can defo lose it and they are losing it with every game they don't win or out rightly lose.
