I'm prepared to be proved wrong here but all this talk that Liverpool have secretly agreed a deal with Barcelona seems pretty ridiculous. Why? Because it's hardly a good plan if everyone knows about it. . What is far more likely is that someone somewhere speculated that this could be the case and because it's quite a good story everyone's jumped on it. It's now so widely shared that people believe it's true. I still think there's a good chance that Couts will be a Liverpool player on Saturday.
