Do you think we wil move for pjanic eds?!

{Ed002's Note - If the money can be raised through selling Sterling or the like it is possible. He would be available at the right price - but if there is no Champions League it would be very difficult.}

I doubt he's interested he wasn't a few weeks ago from what I remember

Even if we did move Sterling on, I doubt we will be rushed into any pjanic buys.

Don't forget, we already have Origi to arrive for next season.

Must disagree with eds2 on this. We have just signed a £300m new balance deal and tv money is to increase greatly next season. Gerrard will be off thd wage bill as will JohnstonBorini and 2 or 3 more players will be sold so sterling will not have to be sold tofund any transfer

{Ed002's Note - The shirt deal is spread over 6 years. There is no greatly increased television money next season. Liverpool has been losing money for years and have vast debts that need to be serviced. Liverpool are already in enough trouble with FFP. This is why we don't discuss money.}

So the shirt deal is £300 over 6 years ed2??
Thanks

{Ed002's Note - If the performance criteria are met, yes.}

17 Feb 2015 22:08:13
If Liverpool qualify off the champions league every season will that be enough to being in the maximum £300 over 6 seasons ed2 ??
Thanks

{Ed002's Note - Something like that.}

Thanks ed2!!

{Ed001's Note - it is not a new deal as such anyway, it is the Warrior deal just under the banner of the parent company now. It is simply a slight rejig. I don't know why some people think it is going to make any difference.}

18 Feb 2015 08:39:17
Hi Ed001, I think the difference was just in whether the deal - £50m per season - is more than our current deal. In which case the extra could go towards players or, more likely, go towards moving us closer to complying with FFP. DO you know how much extra per season it works out to, if any? Thanks Z

{Ed001's Note - the difference is minimal, removing Gerrard's wages off the bill alone will make far more difference towards reaching FFP compliance than the change in shirt deal.}

18 Feb 2015 17:50:56
Ed1 I thought Liverpool only got £25m per season, but ed2 was saying if Liverpool qualify for the champions league that figure will rise to £50m per season! That is all
Thanks

{Ed001's Note - and what made you think the previous deal didn't include an increase for Champions League qualification?}
