So looks like Spurs are making a move for Bruno Fernandes now which may see many UTD fan go into meltdown lol.

One thing is for sure, UTD do not have the bargaining power they had under Fergie. Falling further and further down the ladder since Fergie called it a day.

Think Arsenal probably have made the most exciting signing so far.

Can see Pepe being a big hit but probably using Arsenal as a stepping stone.

Why would he be using Arsenal as a stepping stone Max? It's a big club with what I can see as the most exciting front three in the leauge outside of ours. If 'bigger' clubs wanted him why not buy him now as his price will not go down from now on. I think he will be at Arsenal for an long long time .

You do realise that Arsenal are fighting it out for Europa League football.

If the 'bigger clubs' wanted to take a risk on Pepe then they would have.

If Pepe has a big season and Arsenal do not qualify for CL then they will struggle to hold onto him.

That is just how the cookie crumbles.

Would be a weird transfer if Eriksen and Alli are saying there. Don't want to seem petty or whatever but i actually think Pepe is overrated and will find it very hard to replicate his numbers from last season in the PL specially as almost half his goals were penalties. I guess we'll see.

Amazingly Salah might have been using us as a stepping stone to Real. Amazing to think that at this moment in time us as European champs would be a stepping stone to real looking at the mess they are in.

I don't believe in this "using LFC as a stepping stone" nonsense. Not every player idolizes LFC the way we devoted supporters, do esp. those who did not grow up supporting the club. Players have dreams and use any means necessary to get there by plying their trade in diff. clubs in hope that the club they supported as a boy, will come in for them. As Ed02 always says, players are transient employees at a club, end of discussion.


Same thing happens in professional life as some want to work for company X but have to go thru several jobs/ promotions to get there. I'm not arsed who Salah wants to play for or who his dream club was growing up. As long as he does his every best while wearing the red of LFC, I'm good cos in the end if he does not succeed here, Real Madrid ain't coming in for him. He needs us as much as we need him at this point. That's how these things work.
