So if the last 2 day's shows us anything, When top 6 clubs travel to mid table teams anything can happen. We got a point, arsenal lost 3.

We do have to be careful and it is a good lesson to heed however it is likely that the only team it matters with this season is ManCity. I personally don't care what Arsenal do this year as unlikely to challenge us.

I remember in the last podcast, Ed01 saying Arsenal were the worst 3rd place side he had ever seen and I now concur. They are dreadful from top to bottom. The game vs Watford alone where they conceded a crazy 30 shots in total, tell you the whole story.

As for us, we got a point in a game where we did not play well enuff to win and seemed to allow the occasion to overwhelm us and seemed to hold us back, IMO. There are positives to get from the game either way so we take those and work on the negatives for next time. We move on to Genk.

{Ed001's Note - Arsenal are ridiculously poor to be sat in the top half. How they don't concede 5 goals a game is beyond me. Emery must have a thousand lucky rabbit foots and horseshoes and pick up a penny on the way to the ground every week.}

I fully agree, Ed01. I mean, there is a reason why they always seem to get a hiding when they go to us or City. They seem likely to concede with almost every attack. Watford should have put 6 past them alone and how they got just a point from that game (after being 2 down), is a mystery in itself. They are utterly dross and Emery won't be there that long cos his lucky rabbits/ horses are bound to go on a jail break and bail out on him very soon.

{Ed001's Note - he is his own worst enemy as well Emery. Everywhere he goes, he picks out one senior player and alienates them for no apparent reason. He did it to Banega at Sevilla, Thiago Silva at PSG and no Ozil at Arsenal. I think he is trying to show who is boss, but that just makes him look a dick.}

Ed01 at PSG, he actually alienated two senior players in Thiago Silva and Hatem Ben Arfa, a guy he had just signed from Nice that summer.

{Ed001's Note - I wasn't including Ben Arfa because he has a track record of being a problem, so it might not have been down to Dick Emery.}
