I find it very strange that a man with as much experience as jose is saying he thinks the league is over. Its only november. There will be a lot more twists and turns. Knowing him and his mind games, it is probably another one.

Agree9 Disagree0

He said if you are in front especially by 9 points and you are the best team game over. I make him 100% correct.

I don't make him correct. I am far from a pesimist but after we beat arsenal around christmas last year everyone said it was over. I don't like to jinx it. But seriously we were the best team last year and didn't get over the line. So one game at a time.

it's called mind games. he knows it's not over. we'd better as well.

And it’s 8 points. Don’t discount Leicester or Chelsea - both good teams and recent champions.

Nice for someone to agree with me.

Spot on, Brian. N btw, you are not jinxing anything cos I am pretty sure your opinion does not sway the universe one way or the other, lol.

To your point, Nothing is over and if anyone thinks that ten they are delusional. City won 18 of their last 19 games last season to win the PL and even today, they still played decent, not great and could have score 2 or 3 today. Jose can say what he wants cos he is in the TV business now.

IMO, nobody should care what some pundit (Jose or whoever) has to say. A lot can still happen so we move on to the next game. City are 9 points back? That's their problem now. We look forward with complete tunnel visio and black out al the other white noise. Peace! n.

I agree with you Brian8686 because you are 100% correct . there is still 5 months / 26 games to go anything can happen . Saying that I do think we much better equipped this season than last.

Its arrogant and idiotic to say the league is ours at this stage of the season. We had a bigger points gap at a later stage last season and still came second. 20 years ago, Keegan and co had an even bigger points gap at a much later stage of the season and still ended up runners up. let's just chill our beans until March.

It's only November so I'd never call it anywhere near over but many are backing us genuinely now as we're much stronger than last year in squad depth and a strong mentality while city currently are looking much more vulnerable than they have over last 2 years.

Even if we were equal on points right now I think many would still be backing us as better than city., Our lead can't be compared to last seasons week long 7 point gap as it's not relevant to this season.
Fact is we are improved and city are weakened from 12 months back and most neutral observers can't see us dropping 9 more points than city Will over next 25 or so games. Its not just the lead, its the teams mentality is what has so many people claiming we are not catchable.

I don't agree with bold claims like that but at the same time I've never felt a genuine confidence in a Liverpool team more than right now that we have a real powerhouse who are the real deal.

Agree with you Grino, when Hendo want off, City certainly had more space.

11 Nov 2019 08:08:42
Bang on Har. The mentality of this team is so much stronger this season and let’s hope that’s the difference from last season. Those boys are thinking smarter and playing smarter. A bit more of that again please lads. Loved that yesterday.
