If Mane leaves then perhaps Minamino might make the role his own. He's looking very good lately and a run in the team might help him kick on.

I would be absolutely gutted. However, i back Klopp to get it right. As much as we as fans may disagree with his choices, he seems to really like Ousmane Dembele, Thiago Alcantara and Diego Carlos.

Now if selling Mane, Gini, Larouci and Lovren can fund those 3 signings on top of Tsimikas, i'd argue we're a different team, but certainly not a weaker team. Tsimikas is better than Larouci. Carlos is better than Lovren. Thiago offers something Gini cannot. And Dembele is 6 years younger than Mane which alleviates the risk of our entire front 3 needing replacing at the same time.

Silver linings people. Mane might even stay yet for all we know and then it's all been a stress over nothing.

Dembele will need replacing every week. The dude is injured more than Sam Jackson in unbreakable. I think just the handshake sealing the transfer would put him in treatment table for a few months.

I don't agree with signing Dembeke personally, Nevada. He is actually injury prone. This isn't Thiago who had one major injury 6 years ago and gained a very unfair reputation. Dembele genuinely misses about 100-200 days a year with torn muscles. However if Klopp likes him and thinks he and the fitness staff at Liverpool can get Dembele going then as a "believer" i will support the managers decision.

I've never seen Diego Carlos play either. I just know Real Madrid and Man City are also interested. So he must be highly rated. That doesn't necessarily mean he is good but again, he is Klopp's first choice apparently so i'd back the move.

All i'm saying really is trust the process and trust Klopp. He deserves that. I think if we sold Mane, Gini, Origi, Grujic, Wilson, Lovren and Karius we should have enough to fund 3 more signings on top of Tsimikas for Klopp to start a bit of a squad refresh. I really hope Mane stays (and he still might) but let's not panic mate.
