Hi guys,

Terrible day at the office last night and to me, not one LFC player came out unscathed performance-wise. A 5-train train wreck of epic proportions, IMO. The worst perf. under Klopp since he has been here as far as effort, focus, desire and graft are concerned.

That said, a few things that need to be addressed.

The high line is too hig, IMO and teams are starting to figure it out. How? Simple. Barkley made two runs yesterday from deep while we played the offside and he was in one one one with Adrian and fluffed both efforts. That is how easy it is to figure that out. Not Rocket science, is it? If we press and cannot get the ball drop deeper into a shell and get back in defensive mode so as to unleash the press again from a position of defensive strength. Yesterday, we just pressed, Villa got out of it and the team was cut in half with defenders exposed with gaps opening all over the place. That needs to be fixed. If we have to drop 5/ 10 yards deep for now and the press needing to be better and more thought out then let us do that, cos both all over the place last night.

Also, why are we asking Adrian to do what we all know he simply can't and that is, play with his feet? He is terrible at it, end of. The mistake he made yesterday, he already made 3 times last season vs Saints and Atletico and it cost us goals. He seems to not be learning from prior mistakes so why not tell him to boot it up field cos we know he can do that and even Klopp gestured that way after the goal went in? Pretty simple stuff, IMO.

Last but not least and if I were Klopp, I would paste this result at the very entrance of the dressing room where every player looks at it every single day before training and make the players look at it every single time. This will serve as a reminder of what can happen when we are not at full pelt on all levels. This should serve as the team talk for the rest of the season. THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!

Finally at the end of the day, it is just one result on the face of it. Whether it is a trend will depend on how we react to it going forward and there is no better opportunity than the Derby to get the juices and adrenaline jacked up and full focus on the task so our boys should relish this opportunity to make amends. Everton are going to have to beat us some day so the onus is on them now. Parking the bus won't cut it All in all, Better to lose one game by 5 goals than to lose 5 games by 1 goal. YNWA!

Yes meister the team it seems has took the high line for granted and last night it was horribly exposed counting on the pace of our wing backs and gomez with the anticipation of virgil .
We have not seen klopp bring out his bag of tools for a while but after yesterday them tools need too be dug deep into . That performance was the worst of his managerial career never mind liverpool, certain players need dropping and new energy needs inserting as the rate in which the heads dropped was scary the whole ass fell out from beneath us . There a lot of mitigating factors at the minute that haven't been in our favour with injuries, cv19, fatigue so let's hope we can work through this .
I seem too remember a few seasons back chelsea had a bad start changed formation then ended up winning the league under conte, I know it won't happy.
