I can't help but think we're making a mistake by not signing anyone else this transfer window. Last Year's mistake was not replacing Lovren (which came back to bite us on the arse big time) and I think we're doing the same this year with not signing another forward.
We needed a goal against Chelsea and we left Minamino on the bench and Origi wasn't even in the squad so Klopp obviously doesn't trust either of them. We're 2 injuries away from having no viable first team options and it can happen as last Year showed.

I don´t think it's the same thing this year. Last year we started the season with 3 center back. This year we are going to the season with 5 (vandijk, gomez, matip, konate, philips) and we have enough on the middlefield and forwards position too. We have 7 middlfielders (henderson, fabinho, keita, ox, milner, jones, thiago) and 6 fowards (salah, mane, firmino, minamino, elliot, origi) . Even though I want to sign a new forward I know we can't without selling because we can't keep adding players.

OP, the circumstances are nowhere near being the same as they were last season, IMO. We have 5 CB’s, a backup/ another starting LB, Elliott has joined the midfield and Taki is going to be kept. That’s a lot more options than we had last season.

On Sat, We had Mino and Ox on the bench so if Klopp didn’t play them then you have to direct your ire to him, IMO.

If he didn’t want to bring Taki or Ox on then I would question Klopp on this so let’s not try to draw inaccurate conclusions based on diff scenarios and circumstances.
