An interesting stat for Saturday's Final is that LFC and RM have both been runners up in this Competition three times, so hopefully RM will leapfrog us for that accolade. RM losses in European Cup Finals were in 1962,1964 and of course 1981.

It is also number seven for both teams in a way, because even though RM have won it 13 times, since the year 2000 they have recorded six successes, and interestingly they are yet to lose a European Cup Final this Century, so let's hope Saturday is fully accomplished for RM.

On a footnote seen Roy Evans and Alan Kennedy this morning circa 10. a. m. going towards Lime Station Street with trolley suitcases.

The trolley suitcases will be overweight with those two in.
It's nice to see some balance with Owen and Lee though. A Liverpool legend and a Real Madrid legend.
