Friends, need some advice. We are in Munich this weekend. Any thoughts on pubs or bars we can go to watch the Liverpool - United game on the 19th?

Not been to Munich for years and can't speak for footie pubs. What I can say tho is if you have time, and u like beer and sausage, hop on the 20-30 train ride to Andechts Monastery. Monks make the beer and sausage and it's a nice 5k hike through some amazing countryside. Great day out.

Sorry, W0rdsmith. I got nothing. Now had you been visiting Dusseldorf instead then, I got some places I could have proposed to you downtown by the Rhine river.
Red_Flyer69, monks beers are great. There is a Monastery here in the north of Belgium where they brew good beers and they don't sell them commercially. Got to taste some via an inside man. Truly delicious.
