Does anyone else have a severe dislike for Arsenal? Rivalry aside I find them very irritating, they are a growing into a manifestation of Arteta and that other clown next to him on the touchline. All through our closest rivalry with City I could respect City as fierce opposition but there is something different with Arsenal that I find difficult to watch, any minute i expect Arteta to walk on the field and take the ball back because the other kids aren’t playing by his rules!

People talk up Arteta like he is after performing miracles but the man has been backed more than any Arsenal manager and won nothing. There squad is brilliant and he has them playing 90s Wimbledon football.

It does pain me that Stoke City style football is now on course to win the league. It shows you how far the sport has regressed. I understand that football is about results, first and foremost, but there used to be a degree of entertainment too. Now, games are decided by corners and throw ins, rather than open play creation.
Feel like an old man saying it, but football was better back then.

Arsenal finally have a go at an opposition and they get the win, set piece again but they did seem to try in that second half. Hopefully all our boys can start finding their form as the Gunners and City are coming after us, should be a great season.

After watching the game against Newcastle, it wouldn't surprise me if Arsenal won the PL this season. I know we beat them, but they look a much better team than us at the moment.

Saliba injured someone, and hit someone off the ball, not even a yellow.
They're not likeable at all. Though they are playing better football than us right now, at least in my view.

Arsenal now favorites for the leauge title in all major bookies. An early season swing in momentum for sure. The Liverpool late late shown was against the team this weekend in our game and in the Arsenal Newcastle game. One thing is for sure we need to play a lot lot better against Chelsea next week as we will likely be going into to that game in second place .

Seriously I do question that. I think they have an abundance of above average players but not many really top players. Out of all of their attackers how many would start for Liverpool?
Trossard, Martinelli, Gyokeres, Eze, Havertz, Jesus are all good players but are they getting in our first 11? Not for me.
Saka could possibly but he’s no Mo Salah.
In the midfield you could argue about Rice and Odegaard against Szob and Macca but there’s not much in it. Grav is miles better than Zubimendi.
None of their defenders are as good as Virgil and Raya is no Ali.
What they do have is a very big squad which is very lopsided towards centre backs but I’m not so sure their squad is as ‘great’ as is being billed. If it was they would have to rely on set pieces every week would they?

I find it hilarious that bookies have Arsenal as favourites now even when we are still ahead of them, we are champions and Arsenal have a proven track record of being runners up….

Well, not really as we have 13 league championships that prove otherwise. Unless we're only counting in a said number of years? If so, Liverpool would have less than their 20.
I agree with you that making us favourites is ridiculous, but that never means anything in reality anyway so don't worry!
I agree that Arteta (Lego head) can get too carried away, not arguing with you, but my point was that Baldy (Slot) isn't holier than thou. He got a yellow card yesterday for arguing about a corner, a red card against Everton last season from memory and served a touchline ban, and has had his fair share of ranting at the fourth official when things don't go his way.
You seem to have a lot to say about Arsenal, so just wondered what your thoughts were on your own team?

They’re a topic today because they won and closed the gap. It’s not rocket science.
As for Slot’s antics? Please. This coming from a team and manager who bend the rules to breaking point week in week out? When it comes to petulant behaviour Arteta is the best in Europe and his team are a perfect image of him.

I pretty much hate our biggest rivals for titles no matter who they are. Do I hate Arsenal right now? Absolutely. Would I dislike them if they acted the way they did and were not a rival for the title. Probably not. It is what it is.
I would say the only club I truly truly hate is Real Madrid.
And I dislike every other team when they are a rival.

I didn't watch the Newcastle Arsenal game but what a pair of horrible managers Eddie Howe and Mikel Arteta are, they really have their teams throw them sekves to the floor, time waste and just concentrate on set pieces, Their fans must be sick of watching horrible stoke type Football.
Anyway onto our game i thought Palace were pretty good and not many teams will go there and get anything, they play as a team with no real superstars. And the atmosphere the crowd generates is top quality, Not sure we deserved anything from the game as we are just playing like 11 individuals, but we are still top of the league and we can only get better. YNWA.

Gabriel punched the Newcastle lad in the face nothing done, no var the lad complained to ref he took no notice surely it was a red card . And newcastle were not given their penalty because var messed up with Arsenal's penalty. bent refereeing?

Newcastle's penalty? You mean the one where the ball ricocheted off Gabriel's leg and hit his arm?
Every time I see Liverpool mentioned on the Arsenal page, it's to wish the Liverpool fan who came to our page the best for the season. You lot seem extremely jaded about Arsenal. It's ok, it is what it is.
