Chiesa left out of UCL match due to minor injury, such a pity, ust when he's getting minutes and playing really well.
Hopefully it really is minor and he's back at the weekend.

This is strange cos James Pearce had earlier said it was a "selective decision" and injury was not the problem. Then the manager now claims it was a "niggle" but did suggest that he will be needed vs Chelsea. Something doesn't seem right at all. Would have believed Slot, if I didn't know how much he doesn't fancy ths lad. But how is it that no journo have asked him about this in pressers?

Of course he is injured as if he was 100% he most certainly would be travelling as he playing v well.
Slot may not be his biggest fan but he's not stupid and cheisa at least on the bench at min is a positive for slot and lfc, u only have to at palace match to see that.

I’m baffled by the negativity after one defeat. We bought 6/ 7 new players, lost one in tragic circumstances and yet are top of the league.
You only need to look back at the pattern of previous years to see we usually hit our stride in November after the second international break. Not sure why it would any different this year.
Like Ekitike in the game before, Slot made a rare mistake in that first half setup. Worry if he repeats it. In the meantime, let him work.

Then the pre season
Now five games in
They look weak defensively
The players are not performing bar 5 players in total
The system looks strange for some new players

Semibythesea3, Chiesa was however with the YLFP being injured, he was reinstalled. However, he got a niggle so he won't be there tonight. Hopefully, he'll be fine for Chelsea.
