Hopefully Allisson only has a calf strain. Atleast he could walk so hopefully not as bad as some of the scaremongers want to make it out to be.

For Adrian to be thrown in that quick on his debut must have been massive nerves but he did not have much to do. Most definitely looks more adept than Mignolet.

I'm looking forward, as an Irishman, to hearing commentators try pronounce Caoimhin Kelleher. He's a quality keeper, did really well at the Toulon tournament and his reactions, positioning and handling have been labelled as freakishly good by the full national team staff.

In case anyone is wondering how to pronounce Caoimhin it sounds like Quee-Veen or Kee-Veen depending on the dialect of Gaeilge you use, as he's from Cork most likely Quee-Veen.

Adrian is a good keeper and I feel far more confident with him between the sticks than Mignolet. I think to keep ourselves covered we should offer Lonergan a deal as he’s still at Anfield as he’s a decent experienced keeper.

why is it scaremongering to explain that what we saw could be a tear or a ruptured achilles? it is entirely feasible. Hope not of course!

Faith if it was an archilles tear, he would not have even been able to stand. Here, he walked off on his own strength, for the most part.

Either way, it's neither here nor there as he now has a calf issue which is tricky, just like a hamstring issue as it could be a few weeks to 3 months depending on the severity or if it is a tear. Fingers crossed.

Red wolf - this is the misconception. You can rupture your Achilles and walk off just like how Allison did.

Calf tear by all accounts. If I were the team I'd err on the longer end of his recovery but depends on him of course.
