The result is embarrassing but it won't make any difference. What is worrying however is Firmino's form. Also a new central defender is a must and my last point is Origi.

He's not good enough for Liverpool and a quality forward to compete with Firmino has to be a priority but since there's no money and FSG can't match City and United's spending power next season will be far more difficult for Liverpool.

Nobody is going to try and take the game to us like city are. We clearly still in party mode. A good hiding once every few years isn't too bad and besides we do have the title in the bag. This is embarrassing though.

We had a roasting at lowly Watford. The league was won by February and we have taken our foot of the pedal since. Some shocking performances tonight for sure. Defensively we were terrible. Gomez, Trent Arnold and Robertson in particular. Gomez done twice by Sterling, Robertson was all over the place and Arnold couldn't throw the ball in let alone pass it. We created enough chances though but aside from Salah hitting the upright we were well off the pace. Fantastic season. Being Premier Champions was our only goal IMO. However now we have to push on. IMO we need a CB to support VVD and someone to rotate around Mane, Salah and Firmino. Firmino is key to us but we need someone capable of doing the same role, giving him and us another option.

Origi is good enough to sink Barcelona, score in a European Cup final, grab wins at Newcastle and against Everton but not good enough? I don't buy it.
