2 things if I may ask you Ed001:
1. Shouldn’t the 2 grabs on salah in the box be pens?
2. Curtis Jones looks like the most unfazed young player I’ve seen. Has he always stood out at every youth level mate?
{Ed001's Note - 1. Certainly should have been looked at by the ref, but he was ignoring Mings cuddling Salah throughout the game. Poor refereeing.
2. Technically he has always been excellent yes, but he is one of those that has had to fight up to the top after not being the top talent. That happens a lot in every sport, it is very rare the best talents at 14/15 go on to be the best. It tends to be the ones who have setbacks and are not the stand outs that go on to be the best performers as adults.}

Ed001: seeing as Grealish is the most "fouled" player on planet earth, why does he insist on wearing the world's smallest shinpads? and players running down blind alley's and throwing themselves to the floor is not a foul, why are referee's giving them free kicks? Girouid of chelsea yesterday threw himself down every chance he got.
Its not often i agree with jose, but i did take his point about referee's and where we are going with them and VAR.
Curtis jones looks a very confident player who embraces wearing the liverpool shirt, plenty of good things to come from him i feel.
{Ed001's Note - Grealish is often the one committing the foul when he gets it awarded to him. I have never seen a player who can push and pull so blatantly and win a free kick. It just shows how incompetent officials are in the Premier League. All VAR has done is highlighted just how bad they are. The PGMOL should be scrapped if this is the dross they are going to reduce the game to.}

Curtis Jones could have a big future, he’s clearly a talent and has a bit of swagger to him, really think he can come through and have a big future like TAA.

On the penalty incidents I found it crazy that Sly decided to focus on the ‘penalty’ Villa could’ve got which was not even a challenge and a blatant dive but no mention of the 2 fouls on Salah in the box. Both would’ve been given outside the box 100%.
The pull on his shoulder was every bit as bad as Gomez’s pull on Sterling on Thursday. You could say Salah did his arms in the air thing again which didn’t help but Sterling also threw himself to the ground to emphasise the contact yet no one queried it at all.
The inconsistency is so frustrating.
On Jones i remember his interview last season when he said how frustrated he was to not get enough game time. That’s some serious confidence considering he was 18 and plays for the world and European champions but was frustrated to not be first choice!
