Even when the score was 5-1 yesterday, I felt we would somehow overcome the odds and get something out of it. Moreover, I was not an oddity even the commentary team gave the vibe that they believed we would somehow do it. That is the biggest change that Klopp has brought about. We are now believers. I remember a few years back under Rodgers in a game against West Ham we were defensively shocking. Lovren made a mistake within first 4 minutes and we were pathetic throughout the game. In that game, like most other supprters I never believed in our team. Yesterday, I still had not given hope at 5-1 or even 6-2. We are believers now. Let us not become doubters again. This team will bounce back. YNWA.

Spot on, Sanjit. I had the same feeling> Even at 4-1, I thought we could come back into the game. IMO as badly as we played, I felt and still feel that had we not conceded the 3rd goal off a deflection, we could have had a chance. Just wishful thinking at the time cos we were never going to get anything from that game with the way we were playing.

Rm agree mate. Normally when we are behind the lads look like the devil possessed. Yesterday I did not see that in them and their attitudes and body language were just as bad as the performance. It’s only 1 game but there is no excuse for that. Only thing I can think of is they are exhausted because this squad doesn’t do lack of effort.

They tried too hard to get back into the game after the first goal. Shouldn't have panicked.

Spot on, JK23. Our lack of attitude is what disappointed me the most cos to me, that is the fundamentals of sports. You have to earn the right to compete and we did not even compete which is a slap in the face to those players and Klopp, IMO. That is my biggest frustration and e the whole crap show starts from there regardless of player performances and all that.

We made that game enjoyable for Villa which is a huge anomaly cos we are known globally for being one of if not, the MOST difficult opponent to deal with. Villa were taking the mick and that is what hurt the most and I am sure or would hope that the players' pride was severely bruised.

Sanjit, it’s good to be a believer, however believing in fairy tales isn’t a good idea. At 5-1 down, and watching how we were playing, it would have been more believable for a unicorn to pop up and score for villa!
