Ed is there any truth in the new rumour about VVD knee being worse than first thought and a total reconstruction needed.

{Ed002's Note - He has not even had the operation yet. You all need to step back from guess work about what they will find. Once he has had the operation and a little time to recover, then perhaps the club can speak with the medical staff and make an informed statement.}

Exactly, Ed02. Seen the media trying to stir up crap again saying his injury was worse than previewed whereas, he has not even had the surgery yet. Pathetic, really.

My total guess is that we don't see VVD back this season. and actually, regardless, would prefer that we take a cautious and long term view to his rehab that protects the next 3 years of his career following his recovery.

It's a worry. Look at the ox. Was excellent then done his acl at Rome and he's struggled for fitness since.
