Happy with the result. City were there for the taking but you can’t complain really.

Matip did well on his return. Gini and Hendo had to cover so much ground as a two. Mane and Salah put in so much work. Defensively we looked as good as we’ve ever done against City.

Controversial statement - putting Shaq on for Bobby was the wrong move.

Hopefully Trent injury is not too bad.

The core of the season starts for real after the international break. Hopefully with Thiago and Fabinho back.

Agree with the substitution being the wrong move. Perhaps Jota should have been brought off instead.

Hopefully people who were doubting Firmino could see that as soon as he was brought off we lost so much of our rhythm and shape.

Fingers crossed on trent. This international break comes at a perfect time for a few players to recover as much as possible.

Bobby didn’t do much anyway and the midfield began to become a little porous, I agree with the substitute but shaq just didn’t turn up today was all. May have been better to see keita on the patch opposed to shaq though.

Strikers that hold up the ball are always underestimated. People only want to see the flash through balls, or back heels into the wingers path. He can't do that dvety game.

Sorry - but the wijno is too slow in possession and loses the ball too many times causing a breakdown in any attacking movement. The substitution of Firmino wasn't the wrong decision - it just didn't work. Firmino's normal no-look passing just turned into no luck passing - he will be back. The team hasn't performed to its full potential yet and is one point off the lead - hopefully that will change after the next match with Liverpool at home to Leicester and Spurs at home to citeh.
