On another note, on the salah goal, how far back do you have to go to call a foul. It wasn't even the same passage of play. Yet again i think the ref got this wrong. How does a multi million business have such amateur refereeing. Week in and week out they're been shown up.

How far back do you go (in number of passes and distance from the goal) to validate a goal or void it for deliberate handball by the scoring team? Second season of VAR and they still have no idea how to manage and enforce the rules. Total amateurish display by the ref. Once again.

Liverpool have now had more goals disallowed through VAR decisions this season (6) than any team in the whole of last season.

I dunno what the threshold is for phases of play before it becomes irrelevant, but I feel like that Firmino play was crucial to setting up the goal. If he doesn't control we don't break open the play. It feels like a long gap, but I'm ok with it.
