Jay, this whole ESL debacle may have been a reason why the owners didn’t splash the cash on a defender when we needed to? Thinking there is no point until the summer as we wouldn’t be in the champs league or prem league. makes me wonder.

HanxOz, I don't believe that. If they always wanted to join the ESL, that has nothing to do with getting players in to compete and defend our title until the ESL thingy happens. One has nothing to do with the other, IMO.
