The ramifications from proceeding with this "super league" got the owners of the 6 clubs absolutely shi*ting themselves. These hard nosed businessmen wouldn't have only stopped it because of the fans, no chance. Damage limitation exercise now.

It's a tough one. Ed002 has always said this is a business for them, pure and simple. WE didn't mind when they stepped in and rescued us from the other yanks, we shouldn't be surprised now, when they tried to extend the value of their business. I still feel they've been good for us. They brought in klopp and generally backed him with big signings. Let's hope they're humble enough to take this on the chin and continue to back the club.
