Ed1, how much do you know about this Richard Hughes guy? It seems like he is the favourite for the SD position if Edwards do coming back.

What about Edwards coming back Ed but not as SD? Do you think that is a good idea? You're not his biggest fan when he was SD before. There's probably pros and cons if he do come back. Pros probably him knowing the club structure and personnel inside out. Cons probably him already having his own company, so not fully focused on the club I would think.

You know anything about this Ed? Seems like its starting to pick up the pace with multiple journalist reporting that he is in talk with FSG to come back to the club. Few months back most journalist were reporting that he was not interested in coming back at all. What kind of position that FSG willing to give to him for him to consider coming back?

Mfahmee2, I read that he will be part of the setup to employ the new DOF and of course, the new manager. His is not coming back to be the DOF again if any of this is true.

Ed02 remarkably, I did not see where you have been explaining this personally since I have never commented on this topic cos I just learned about Edwards having renewed talks with FSG 2 days ago.
That being said, I do appreciate you confirming this cos I take what I read outside of the info you Ed's give us with a tiny grain of salt. Cheers, man.

Interestingly Ed1, Richard Hughes is the one responsible in signing the likes of Solanke, Ibe and Brad Smith from us when Edwards was our SD. Is that down to him or Eddie Howe as Bournemouth manager at that time?
