Hello All,
I am very optimistic about this season. I see more depth, i see more maturity in the team and game management.
I honestly believe this is the year.
Can't wait to see Brewster along Origi in the domestic cups.
Keita and Shaqiri are X-factor players that once they come good would bring excitement to the team.

Read an interesting article on Shaqiri earlier. Don’t quote me but it was saying that his pass completion last season was around 79% compared to Wijnaldum at 91%. But it also said only De Bruyne attempted more through balls per 90 minutes throughout the league than him. Went on to say that Klopp will look more to use him against teams that park the bus and need unlocking and would not require him to track back and defend as that is where his weakness is.

JK23. That is exactly why I'd rather keep Harry Wilson. So Klopp doesn't like the fact that he doesn't work hard enough, but against a team that parks the bus, he'd be the perfect plan B.

This is indeed our year, I might not get to see us lift it! But I know we'll do it! The lads had a taste of success and will want more. This is our year.

I can take comfort from the fact even if we have a bad season we'll still finish 2nd, a million miles ahead of the rest and only 2nd to a team that spend 60 million on back up full backs 😂 up the reds.

Spot on, JK23. Shaq was good for us last season vs the bus-parkers esp. in the Fulham, Watford, Huddersfield and you guessed it, Utd at Anfield. Vs the bigger team, he struggles cos he lacks the ability to track back and cover the gaps we leave when in possession. Keita had the same issue too BUT he was just about coming good before he got injured. I think this role is where Shaq will excel the most for us this season.
