Another Irish player, and my personal favourite, Ray Houghton would be greatly appreciated too ed. Or maybe even a special eoisode on the many Irish players that donned the red jersey. would be very interesting to hear your take.

{Ed001's Note - I got given a Ray Houghton book after his first season, I forget what it was called now, but after that came out he was terrible! Brilliant first season though.}

I remember his freekick for Ireland vs Italy. Brilliant goal. I was cheering for them. Was it italia 90?

It was USA 94 Robbie, but wasn't a free kick. More of a weird half volley kinda kick! Some celebration after it too!
