Who’s not bothered? I’m disappointed. I feel we should be going to win everything. We’re having a fantastic season and another cup would be amazing. Anyway I for one hope the kids pull us through but I’d still of lined to see us field a strong squad.

I am bothered to some extent, don't understand how Matip, Lovern, Keita etc are not playing they need games. They could play and go away after tonights game.

There are dozens of threads here about Man U, what's the difference. Just focus on LFC.

Because they're not in the u23s. Neither is klopp. It's all very simple. We are well in our rights to play any one who is registered. It's not disrespectful to shrewsbury. I guarantee you their fans aren't sitting there saying how they feel cheated. They (and their board) are rubbing their hands together thinking they have a genuine chance of progressing.

But I think they'll get a shock. The youngsters are at home this time and I actually think they'll slaughter shrewsbury and all this talk of not giving them z proper game will stop.

The ones who are most being disrespected are our own u23s. Everyone assuming we are throwing this game by playing a load of kids. Every one of those u23s would get in shrewsbury' s 1st team.

Brilliant response, Robbie. You can be disappointed that Klopp is not doing what we want and that is fine BUT this whole "disrespectful to Shewsbury" narrative is becoming tiring and in fact, it's not even true. Shewsbury are chuffed to be going to Anfield and they earned it BUT Klopp is not here to do what Shewsbury or any other club wants.

As for the City fans, they are SOO obsessed with LFC starting their cry-baby manager who seems to now be throwing his tantrums and toys out the pram cos LFC had the temerity to pummel him and his team into submission this season, that it is bordering on cringeworthy so why is anyone surprised with their LFC obsession?

sad to see but the FA Cup is going down the same route as the League Cup, teams resting players, giving fringe players some game time, youngsters too,
I can see the League Cup going altogether at sometime,
