Interesting Klopp quote after yesterday "From now on we can play free football again, we don't have to defend to try to get records. "

Am I the only one slightly bored with our play recently? Don't get me wrong I've been delighted with results but it proves we were doing it specifically to go undefeated.

Hopefully now we can play some fun attacking football again!

I thought that was interesting as well.

I took it as a response to the constant questions about records. Klopp says they didn't think about them but his reply "now we can play with freedom" suggests perhaps gunning for those records was weighing heavy.

I disagree, OP. Klopp has been saying for months that the undefeated record and all other records don't matter to him. Also, another journalist (last name Fletcher) said that he spoke to the players after the Norwich game and they all said that records don't, matter to them. The focus was one game at a time and I read it to be that if you focus on one game at a time, whatever records out there will eventually fall and that has been the case already.

Therefore, that response he gave may just be that we can now play freely cos now, the whole question will stop being asked and the boys can fully concentrate on playing football. I don't believe we were playing specifically for that record. If we were, we would have had a lot more draws than we do now, just like Arsenal.
