ed002 is there any interest Koulibaly from anywhere. With the transfer fee and age I just can't see any club showing an interest in players of that age for them sort of fees and wages. At 29 you never know when players turn into there 30s when there legs will go I guess that why Chelsea never give longer than 1 year contracts for players of 30 years seen so many players come back for the next season and there legs have just gone over the summer.

{Ed002's Note - Yes there is interest in him from elsewhere but they will be looking to do something over the price and Napoli have a replacement lined up.}

Diego Carlos looks a bit reckless to me always looking to dive into challenges that don’t need to be made. Not at all like VVD, Gomes or Matip and we’re trying to offload one of those already in Lovren. Plus at the fee Sevilla want I can’t see it happening, not least because Madrid are also sniffing around. I reckon we need to shop smartly (if we are at all in the market) and go for a defender who can cover both CB and LB, maybe Boubakar Kamara or Nathan Ake? Both of them can play CB and LB comfortably.

Neither the Napoli player or Seville player will be at anfield come start of next season
We will not be signing any big players that is quite obvious and we really don’t even need to
A back up left for Robbo would be nice but we have Milner and Gomez if any emergencies arise
Up top we have Harvey Eliot the and while he is young I’m telling you this lad is something special
And no one knows what is even going to happen with Harry Wilson yet or Brewster
So we we can wait for signings there is no rush.

Ake would be an interesting one but I strongly doubt Bournemouth will let him go, and if they do it won't be cheap. Might aswell pay top dollar for a CB if we are going to bother.

FlashTheRed, haven't you heard? It is never enuff for some on here. LFC have had the best defence in the PL statistically for the past near 2 seasons now BUT hey, I guess is is still not "glorious" enuff. Go figure.
