Ed002.I have already raised this issue and you have kindly replied, and correctly in view. It's about Liverpool and Chelsea involved in transfers this window. Now I understand your point that point that Chelsea use a different financial model and they're utilising money from Hazard sale, but now with Chilwell priced at £50 million and Havertz at around £75 million, this is beyond what.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea have significantly more money from sales than the money from Hazard. Thed sold players in January, they had more than £50M from the sale of Morata this summer, other players have already been sold this summer (e.g. Pasilic, Omeruo) and have a large number of players either being or to be sold - some of which will bring good returns (e.g. Emerson, Bakayoko, Basthuayi .....}

Agree0 Disagree0

In addition to that, it is safe to speculate that Chelsea already had money on hand to spend last summer before the ban dropped so prolly, that money was just moved over to this season.

I also think that Chelsea have lots of dough to spend and IMO, it has nothing to do with Abramovich putting his own money in to cover any of these transfers, as much as many of our fans would like to believe such things. Not sure you can even do that anymore due to FFP.

I don't see the problem with Abramovich using his own money to sign players if he chose to do so.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea has to comply with FFP rules, like other clubs.}

How would that be possible if they spend all this cash and can’t have fans back in the stadium this season? I’m assuming like Liverpool they will be close to losing circa 150 million if not more to the C.V.? I’m surprised any teams are able to splash the cash and comply at the moment.

{Ed002's Note - They will be spending considerably more than £150M from money they have generated through transfers. There is no compliance issue.}

Spot on, Ed02. FFP has put a stop to owners just filling financial deficits of their clubs so the LFC fans who keep telling themselves that City or Chelsea owners are still ploughing money into the club to finance transfers, need to stop embarrassing themselves by showing their bitterness and ignorance on SM on a daily basis.

The reason I say this is cos I have seen on SM where LFC fans keep slamming FSG for not putting money into the club for transfers, and if you tell them that due to FFP, it no longer possible, you get labelled an FSG arse-kisser. Chelsea, City and Utd have money to blow, money they have earned thru viable revenue streams so people need to deal with that and move on.

{Ed002's Note - FSG are suffering way more than most club owners - and it could yet get worse.}

Another high and mighty high horse I’m a superior fan who knows more than anyone else post 🙄.
Now I’ve got that out of my system Ed002 appreciate if you don’t want to go into it but I thought I’d ask.
What’s is the reason FSG are suffering more than most owners?
And you say it could get worse, with that in mind is it possible that they could look to sell the club if things do get worse?

{Ed002's Note - Because their entire business is based on sports investment so they are being hit across the board. It can get worse because coronavirus positive test are running riot through the 2020 Major League Baseball season which could be cut short and cancelled.}

Cheers for the reply Ed002 👍.

JK23 as Pink said in her song, "Why so serious"? For the record, I have, don't and will never care what anyone on this forum thinks about me and I am sure the feeling is mutual. Therefore, I will continue to air my opinion in the way I like and as I see fit.

Therefore whatever it is that makes you sound so delusional and bitter to the point of it being stuck on your chest (however long it has been on there) that you have to get it out, seems like a personal problem that you prolly need to get looked at.

👍 cheers for that RM.

Peace and Love, my friend.

I've always quite liked chilwell. It'll be a good signing for Chelsea.

Signing some very tidy player aren't they. It's not top 4 they want. It's top 1.

Well Ed if you look at Chelsea they spent over £500 million over the last 4 years and they had a transfer ban in the middle of that. I know they sold hazard but surely they don't have that much spare change laying around.

{Ed002's Note - I have answered this question already - they are funding purchases through sales. Did you not bother reading the post.}
