Saka is brilliant, I’d love a creative winger like him, Raphinha, Sancho, Neto etc on the right rotating with Elliott

Two of Fabinho, Thiago, Henderson and a new midfielder (Bissouma/ Neuhaus? ) in midfield

Firmino/ Jones
Mane/ Jota
Salah/ Malen

I’d even go as far as replacing Firmino with De Paul or a new 10 but i’ll try to keep somewhat realistic. I think we’ll get rid of him summer 2022.

Eze for me. He is not far behind Raphinha and better than Saka on current ability. He carries a shocking Palace team. He even makes Benteke look average. He'd be a great long term replacement for Mane. With Jota gradually phasing out Bobby and Elliott the same with Salah. I haven't wanted a player as much as Eze since Fabinho. I just think the kid is going to be an absolute star.

Eze looks class with the ball but just don’t know if he will score the amount of goals that Liverpool fans would demand, especially after being blessed with mane and salah on the wings the last few years. Only scored his first goal this weekend since January.

You’ve peaked my interest MK Scouser. Haven’t seen much of him. How would you describe him and what are his best attributes? Ed666 you got me really warming to the idea of Saka. Been watching interviews and clips of him. Seems like such a humble lad. He clearly has ability and potential to vastly improve. It was an interview with Freddie Ljungberg however that told me a lot about the young lad as a person more so than as a footballer. It’s obvious the kid is talented but it was the way Ljungberg spoke about him. He had that look of a proud father seeing one of their kids doing what they love and fulfilling their potential. He described how much of a nice lad he is, a keen listener who is always asking how to improve his game.

{Ed0666's Note - Saka would be the marquee signing for me mate. Kid can play both wings effectively and has a Mane-esque ceiling. For example if a mane left and we replaced him with Saka It would please me no end. Also he can also deputise for robbo if needed. I’ve heard he’s a lovely human being which is one of the primary values Liverpool look from incoming players. I’m pretty sure the transfer won’t happen tho arsenal know what they have

Ed666. I don’t blame Arsenal to be fair as he is their prized asset. Do you know if Arsenal without European football next season might be tempted into selling for a “large fee” in order to finance a squad overhaul, or he is simply off limits? A sell of say, Mane should bring us a decent chunk of change I would think, maybe not as much as we would all like due to C.V. etc but a reasonable amount in order to go for the likes of Saka. Also do you know if we currently have any interest or in the past have had any interest in him?

Saka would surely be in the 50m range but youve either got a player for the next 10-15 years or you more than likely sell him on for profit down the line. Ed, Whether we've been interested before i don't know id imagine we kept an eye when his contract wasnt sorted last year but he was never 'for sale' but if he was made available do you think we'd try make a deal happen? I'd imagine City and United would. Between the C.V. and no European football at all I don't think its crazy to imagine that Arsenal may cash in, his best position is the same as 72m Pepe too, with that kind of money invested in a player there could be a message from above to get him in the team. Imagine the backlash from Arsenal fans though!

{Ed0666's Note - I have no doubts arsenals resolve would be tested with a £50 million plus offer. I wouldn’t be unhappy if we sold mane and replaced him with saka. I honestly don’t see this transfer happening tho

It would be Saka for me too considering he is 3 years younger than Eze and has scored more also. Given those 3 years Sara could be immense by the time he's 22.

Alonso1786, Eze is a very similar player to Saka. He can also play either wing or in the No.10 position but works slightly harder defensively. Saka probably has a slightly higher ceiling but its hard to tell as he has better players around him. Both are excellent talents who are at times carrying their teams at a young age. Eze has just somehow avoided all the hype thus far. On current ability i think Eze is better than Saka but somebody has already pointed out he is about 2 or 3 years older. Thing i like most about Eze his how easily he can ghost past people. He is also a left footed set piece specialist which would enable us to leave Robertson back for corners. I don't think we're interested at all though which is a shame. It's just who i'd look to sign if i were in Klopp's position. But Klopp will have his eyes on someone else who i'm sure he can mould into a star.

Ed0666. I love Saka but a John Henry statue might not last very long. Saka and Eze both have a trait i like in that they are comfortable crossing or shooting with either foot. I think it makes players so much harder to defend against!

Eze is a baller but Saka for me, is the better player. He is aggressive, skilful and is improving almost on a weekly basis. Eze on the other hand, seems to cruise through games cos maybe at Palace, he is not under the same pressure that Saka is on at a big club where he is actually thriving in it.

Maybe Eze will react as well to the pressure but we don’t know that for sure whereas Saka is already doing that now. Saka all day for me.
