{Ed0666's Note - I’m not watching that game again. I don’t know how I didn’t have a heart attack watching it again will surely bring on coronary artery disease. It was however one of the most enthralling games I’ve seen in centuries. It had everything excitement, drama, contentious incidents, skill but above all unfortunately it was littered with horrible football and passing.

Two teams that were intent on giving the ball away when they got it. We pressed incredibly well but for what reason when we gave the ball back straight away. I have to admit I didn’t think fab had a great game which disappointed me. Allison has looked shaky last few games and I’m hoping this is because he hasn’t got the assuring presence of his regular centre backs and he’ll get better next season when Virgil, Joe and Joel return. Trent was playing as if Garett Southgate was watching the game he was superb and that run from robbo to disposes RashFord when RashFord had a start on him was a thing of poetry. I don’t care what anyone says about Salah we have to do everything in our power to keep him.

I don’t care if he turns into an aging footballer on a long contract in a couple of years yesterday showed me what an incredible soccer player he is and how unselfish the man is. He played for the team yesterday and left everything On the pitch. He pressed, annoyed and bullied Manchester United and displayed qualities that you expect from an employee of this great football club as oppose to Mane who just looked petulant and petty. So glad salah got his goal, thoroughly deserved. The two centre backs are never gonna Play for Barcelona but they try their best and their best is determination and fortitude and I’ve been absolutely delighted with them last two games especially Williams.

The kid gets dogs abuse on here but he’s not let anyone down last two games in fact he’s saved our season with that block yesterday. Phillips also has taken on the mantle of senior centre back with little fanfare and is just a wall. If we do get top 4 I hope people remember that Philips and Williams were a big part of that accolade. Great to see Bobby back and smiling although I do t think he was especially great but he scored to vital goals. I wanted to slap Jota for hitting the post but that would be a little harsh as he was a menace yesterday and will be a real weapon next season.

I just feel he blows hot and cold which is what he did at wolves and needs to add consistency to his game. Maybe I’m being over critical as he’s always involved somehow. I have to say one thing Manchester United playing out from the back is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen in my life and I’ve watched Chris Rock, Dave Chappell and Kevin Hart live.

Next time if I want a laugh I’ll just watch a rerun of that game. I’m not quite sure what they were doing but whatever it was it needs to stop or improve. It just shows how good we are at playing it out. I don’t think klopp will be happy with that performance if I’m being honest but he’ll be delighted with the result. There’s so much more I wanna write as there was so much incident and I’m sorry I haven’t got time to watch the match again and do a Proper review.

{Ed0666's Note - thanks for the love mate I appreciate you. I’ve been a Liverpool fan for around 40 years and have lived through the highs of paisley, fagan, dalglish and the lows of Hodgson and souness.

Favourite players El Niño, Suarez, Hansen, the swashbuckling Barnes who was just unplayable most of his Liverpool career. I have a special respect for digger as he showed us football throughout most of his Liverpool career that was Messi-esque and all this while fascist Neanderthals were lobbing bananas at him week in week out.

Most astounding of all he played majestic football with a a gargantuan smile and not a whiff of support from the FA that was supposed to protect him from abuse. But No 1 has to be the King as a player and more so as a man. As a player he just unlocked defense after defense with his magic and telepathic understanding with Mr Rush. As a manager when he took over from Fagan he just won game after game. And had it not been for the European ban I’m certain he would have won us the European Cup under his stewardship. As a man he’s unheralded for his unyielding dedication and support to the survivors of the hillsborough tragedy.

I was born and raised in London and thank God the family that minded me after school had two older sons that were Liverpool fans and they used to record sports night with Harry Carpenter and show me highlights of midweek European games involving Liverpool. I don’t know if it was the Red Hitachi sponsered kit or Terry Mac’s moustache but I somehow gravitated towards LFC instead of the London clubs and I’m better for it.

I've been watching 80's games on YouTube lately ed and Barnes was my favourite player growing up and just watching them games again is great, the games were great back then, end to end for the most part and no rolling around after a tackle, imagine if Barnes was playing today.

Hey ed0666, you had me at Terry Macs tache. I'm guessing you must remember the 7-0 against Spurs! My first game. Also the Hitachi kit was my first top, best Christmas present that year!

I remember staying up watching Sportsnight on a B/ W portable TV in my room with headphones on lol. Harry C was a legend, no one like him now.
