Little question regarding market values.

Obviously the general public have 'Transfermarkt' and the CIES to determine the market value for players. Do clubs use these systems or their own profiling in order to determine the overall value of a player? Also what are the biggest factors that influence this.

For example I feel different clubs would have a different valuation for certain players. Eg to Liverpool Sancho would have a higher value than he would to Bayern Munich, as he is homegrown in the Prem, something of little relevance to Bayern (at least I think) .

Does off field antics and image also have an impact on these market values? For example Ronaldo moved to Juve for a fee you'd consider relatively low (especially considering the calibre of player)

You're right, Jadon:

"A Home Grown Player, as defined by the Premier League, is a player who: (a) is 21 or older on January 1 of the year in which that season begins; and (b) spent three years between the ages of 16 and 21 with a team in the English football League system. "

He was born on 25/ 3/ 00 and joined BD on 31 Aug 17 so he spent 1 year, 5 months in the EPL from the age of 16 upwards.

As he is already 21, he would not be classed as HG in the EPL.

Not sure if the Bundesliga have a similar classification, but German clubs look to have a much higher proportion of Germans playing for them than EPL clubs (certainly top 10) have British players.

UEFA defines a Home Grown player as anyone who is at a club in that country for 3 years between the ages of 15 or 21. So under that, Jadon is correct and his namesake is Home Grown for clubs in Germany, not England, as he moved to Dortmund on the 31st of August 2017, only 2 years and 5 months after his 15th birthday.

Interestingly the Premier League website just says 3 years under 21 counts as Home Grown, in which case he would be HG for Premier League registry. I'm guessing this is just the website being imprecise. I know there are some differences in the registry rules between the PL and continental competitions (no club trained requirement for the PL, U21s need to have been at the club at least 2 years to be eligible for the 'B list' in Europe, but not in the PL), but different definitions of Home Grown seems a bit much.
