I know a few will have the answer to this but has Klopp signed many players in the Summer transfer window after the season has started? He would seem the type of guy that would like to have all his ducks in a row before the opening game but history might say something different? Just curious!

It’s out of Klopp’s hands isn’t it Rover?
If we need to sell first, then that’s down to others.
I think we’ll get at least one more in. Midfielder would be my choice.

Since he joined LFC, Jurgen Klopp has let 31 players go. And probably bought just as many. Most have been in the summers, but I have no idea if they've been after seasons have started or not. My sense is that he doesn't worry too much about the timing. We've seen important purchases at the beginning of the window (Konate), at the end of window (Thiago) and in January (VVD, Minamino), so it's difficult to see any discernable pattern.

You have to make room in the squad by selling players first before you can add players to it. This is nothing new as all clubs do it.

As for Klopp signing players after the season has started, he signed Ox after we thrashed Arsenal 4-0 in 17/ 18 season and Thiago and Jota last season. Klopp may like to get his duck in a row before the season but that is just in the ideal scenario. Nothing is set in stone clearly as the above examples suggest. You can sign players as long as the TW is open.
