Just a word on the atmosphere outside the ground (starting with the bus welcome up Anfield Road, from the King Harry onwards) and inside Anfield itself yesterday- it was incredible; a real credit to the Club . the Wolves fans overall I have to say were quite pathetic with their "support" for Man City but no change there as they did the same 3 seasons ago at the same stage of the season . BUT I have to say the Club need to find out who threw the lit flare into the Wolves fans (actually into their wheelchair section) and ban them. From my view it looked like it came from the hospitality section of the Main Stand, nearest the Wolves fans. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. Equally the Wolves fan who then threw it into the Liverpool fans on the Lower Main needs to be identified and dealt with but we as a Club need to hold ourselves to a higher standard than that and deal with it.

That's very sad to hear Istanbul. It seems that the club is hated by a lot of opposing fan's. that's quite a shame as we are a very honerable club.

Success will bring a lot of hate to towards the club from opposition but do we care? Well done to
City and they deserved it. Showed champions mentality last game off the season to score 3 goals in 5 mins, I think the only other team to be capable of doing that would be one of fergies at **** united.

We are hated for a variety of reasons, some quite unsavoury, but recently mostly because our performances are a constant reminder to fans of other clubs of how pathetic their clubs have been in the face of increasing dominance from Man City. Clubs in this league, particularly the other members of the big 6 (Chelsea and Man Utd more than anyone), have been an absolute disgrace for 4 seasons.
If City win no one cares because a) they have very few fans or rivalries, and b) it somewhat exonerates clubs and fans of those clubs from having to face up to how bad their club really is. “Well City spend more than anyone so who cares” - you should if you don’t want to see them winning 10 titles in a row or if you take any issue with how that club has lied and cheated their way to everything they’ve won.
It sickens me that this is the attitude of most football fans now.

It baffles me why anybody would hate anybody else associated with a game.

Finding reasons to justify ‘hate’ for other sports fans is genuinely sad.

Am sure if wolves where playing city in the last game there fans would have been the same towards them just a chance to give a bit back to are fans and try to spoil the day.

I agree, grino; it's probably not personal.
Wolves could have done the same had they been elsewhere and I'm sure Villa fans were giving it to City.
