Hello ed1 hope u well. I see few reports linking us with murillo of Notts forest. Was it him u rated v highly? I thought u said it previously, checked the search but I can't find anything.

Yes of limited bits I've seen of him lack of aerial ability was his biggest problem for a cb. Definitely has a nice left foot. Would prefer branthwaite but he hardly attainable.
{Ed001's Note - Branthwaite lacks a burst of pace to rescue mistakes. Very good player, but without that he will struggle to step up to play in a high line.}

Ed, been watching Murillo since you were bigging up in the podcasts and I agree, he is good on the ball, a very good passer and and is a cool headed defender. He is not too pacy but that could be cos of the way he is being asked to defend deep at Forrest. Not sure he is good in the high line or out in space defending 1 v 1 BUT there you go.

Is Branthwaite all that good? I’ll admit I haven’t seen much of him but what I have seen I’ve not been overly impressed.
He looks on a par with a Dunk or Tarkowski to me. Decent but nothing special.
Maybe I’ve only seen his bad games.
