Rumours of FSG going in for Michael Edwards once again. Anything in this?

There was an article over the weekend suggesting that FSG were reconsidering the multi-club ownership opportunity again as part of the restructuring process. Not sure if that has any link to any Edwards consultation but thought I would share.

I’d of liked jorg schmadtke to have stayed on for another year. Grabbed us endo and szob.

David Ornstein released an article an hour ago that FSG want Edwards to be “Football Chief Executive Officer” overseeing all football operations at the club, and possibly doing away with the DoF role.
Would be interesting to see if that develops.

@John Szoboszlai was a release clause which we almost missed the deadline for. We were all in for Caicedo and Lavia before Endo but Chelsea saved us from ourselves. Jorg did okay but we got lucky last summer and he is clearly not the long-term fix.

You think Schmadtke was the person who targeted Caicedo and Lavia? I’m not saying he’s the long term answer but please explain how he got lucky without talking out of your backside.

He made two great signings which weren't flavour of the month players that everyone wanted. Some people refuse to be pleased.
