I was hoping someone could point me to the page of the 19-20 champions as all I can find is a page where we seem to be going round in circles about finances.

C.V. has hit FSG hard and we need to sell to buy, let’s be thankful we got the title, still have a team to support and can look forward to some more football in two weeks time. rather than whine that we can’t go and buy someone at the drop of a hat.

I have to agree with Ed001 there, unfortunately he’s usually the one keeping the whiners in check so his absence is greatly missed. This page is horrendous right now and it’s only going to get worse.

Said the other day on the live chat! It drives me up the wall, so many people can’t grasp the fact that the club has very limited resources And we need to sell before we buy! We just won the league with this squad so why can’t we challenge this year? Who cares about the other teams, we play as a unit and that takes a lot of time and effort to get! Buying a certain person does not mean they will improve the team anyways! I’ll trust the manager that just got us a champions league, premier league, super cup, world club cup and trust the owners who have given Klopp the money to do this and build a new stand and a new training complex. Money don’t grow on trees! Up the pool!

I'm sorry but hows it not whining. We finally won the Prem an I couldn't be happier, I'm still basking in the glory of such a dominant league performance. Yet all I see are toddler reactions to other teams (chelsea) spending " oh I want one too". We are the champions of England and for once, the rest are trying to catch us. FSG have done a great job making the club better including signing Jurgen. You clearly don't remember the Vorinin days.

I think that is completely nonsense about whining etc. one thing Liverpool of old repeatedly did well when we were the best team around is build upon the team we had year after year. all of this people are whining and are ungrateful and know nothing about football is bollocks. We all watched the game on Saturday, arsenal played their second string team and hardly ever looked in trouble. we didn’t sign any players last summer and got Minamino in Jan who is never gna set the world alight. this is what is the problem with Liverpool, we have fans who lack perspective. we have to be thinking about tomorrow and the next game. the front 3 looked lacklustre and tired and the season hasn’t even begun, god forbid one of them gets injured for a serious amount of time I do not believe we have the capacity to deal with such an issue. It’s not whining saying we want to sign players, the club is ran really well and we have just come off of the back of winning important trophies. the biggest ones in fact. are you guys seriously trying to tell me everyone else can spend bar us!? Spot on. Sometimes I read this and people would think we have got an ageing team who have won nothing for years. We are World and Prem Champions with a starting line up of 11 amazing players with some great squad players and very promising youngsters. It was the same last year when we didn't sign anyone and we didn't do too bad did we? Also some of the pundits like Trevor Sinclair writing us off already. Makes me laugh as he has so much experience in winning titles doesn't he?

I agree Ed. I think we've done a really good job of buying young players to develop last summer and this. Now we need to develop them and incorporate ones who are ready into the first team like we've done with TAA and now with Jones.

People need to remember the transition from H&G and how close we were to administration (definitely felt close) I would much prefer having a bit of patience to create funds then spend what we don't have.

Yes, it is complete and utter whining and petulant spoilt-bratism from people who are only interested in being right. People know what the deal is. Klopp, FSG, Ed01/02 have repeatedly been honest about what is happening. They hid nothing from us BUT yet, people still whine and get emotional. An American politician once said, "Facts are stubborn. They do not care about your feelings"and LONG may that continue.

We won the PL after 30 years, sweeping all before us BUT with the whining and bitching we read on here, you would think we were back in 2012 where FSG got roasted cos they did not sign the great Clint Dempsey.
