I think we have lacked a spark in most games this season, the intensity hasn't been there. Maybe its something to do with no fans.

I think it's definitely that mate, the players are so used to the fans been there. If that is the case they need to get used to it because fans won't be in stadiums this season at all imo.

Understand what you’re saying mate and as they say football is nothing without fans. I thought we had decent intensity against Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton. I think the days where we blow teams out of the water going all gun ho are few and far between. It was similar last season even with fans. I’d like to think the way Klopp sets us up now we are more efficient and the trophy cabinet proves that.

I do kinda miss the days when we would be 3 nil up inside 25 minutes but I agree our game has moved on from that. We now control the ball and dominate teams like world class sides do. As boring as it may sometimes be we have a defined gameplan and we do execute it brilliantly most times.

I think fans make you notice the intensity.

If your battering a team you can feel it in the atmosphere that they expect something to happen with every pass or shot.
The same goes for the last minutes of games where you can hear tension building when everyone's bricking it that the 1 goal lead will be washed away.

We have definitely played similar to how we would last year, you just don't have the instant feedback of a 50,000 strong crowd to back it up.

Salah is right, it is definitely the lack of fans. The intensity isn't as high as it can be.

European nights are going to be flat without Ynwa. Maybe the red 2 1/ 3s of the city could sing it when the boys run out. From there bedroom windows or their front door.

That's a good idea ed025. But I feel if the opposition can still he Ynwa coming from this passionate city it will be brilliant.

The taxis drivers always made me laugh. I remember one saying they were always busy when liverpool were playing but when the toffees were playing they were quiet as the blue side where so tight!

Something has definitely been lacking. The zip or aggression just hasn't seemed to he there- possibly aside from Robertson and Henderson. The whole team looks like they're playing in a lower gear to me. It is a mental season tho!

{Ed025's Note - i think thats a bit unfair to be honest bledd, yes there was the loss to villa but besides that i think they have been fine mate, its not easy playing in front of empty stadiums..

I said a while ago I felt no fans would affect us more than most. The players seem to thrive on the atmosphere generated by the 12th man. That’s why we’ve had so many memorable European nights at Anfield. Not only do our players get a massive lift but the opposition crumble as well.

Possibly over critical ed but something seems different to me. I can't put my finger on it. I'm not as confident going in to games as previous seasons.
